Busy weekend is expecting for Brussels Airport caused by the start of the summer holidays. Humanoid robot will greet and help 230,000 travellers.

The robot, named Bruce Pepper, can read boarding passes, inform passengers of their boarding gate, tell the weather in real time, direct people to the nearest toilet and provide other practical information for stressed passengers.

In addition to robots, the airport will also be opening family-friendly lines to accommodate passengers travelling with young children and pushchairs.

As well as departures for the summer break, the airport will be welcoming many arrivals this weekend to enjoy the Belgian music festivals.

Across the tourism industry as a whole, new projections show that despite recent terror attacks, visitor figures this year are expected to be on a par with 2015.
