Help Brussels become this year’s European Best Destination
Once more, competition is rough. 20 cities are competing in a virtual fight to the top and the title of European Best Destination for the year 2015. On the starting blocks are the following cities: Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, Bordeaux, Brussels , Istanbul, Innsbruck, Lisbon, Ljubljana, London, Madrid, Milan, Paris, Reykjavik, Riga, Rome, La Valetta, Vienna and Zagreb.
One of these cities, all more charming one another, will succeed to Porto, who won last year’s competition.
In a similar competition dedicated to Christmas markets, Brussels had finished third. This year, we’re aiming for the first place of the podium. All you need to do is vote before 10 February 2015 via www.ebd2015.com and share it to all your friends…
Brussels is one of 20 nominees shortlisted for the European Best Destination 2015 title
European Best Destinations (EBD) is a European organisation to promote tourism in Europe.
It works with tourism offices in Europe to promote a better understanding of the wealth, diversity and quality of European destinations. The title of European Best Destination has become synonymous with European excellence.
The city to receive most votes will be awarded the title of ‘European Best Destination 2015’. The destinations which make up the top 10 will be promoted on various social networks and websites as being one of the best European destinations to visit in 2015.
The winner will be authorised to use the title and logo of ‘European Best Destination’ on all its communications, adverts, website and photos. The top 10 will be able to use a logo to show that they were chosen as one of the 10 best destinations to visit in Europe.
Porto won the award last year and an independent study showed that it benefitted from more than €10 million of free publicity across Europe.
