Summer has finally arrived in Brussels with temperatures set to exceed 30°C mid-week, forecasters say.
Wednesday will be the hottest day, with maximum temperatures reaching 33°C in the capital, 30°C on the coast and 26°C further south.
However, from Thursday onwards temperatures will drop with the arrival of a stormy cold front, crossing the country from west to east. On Friday, temperatures will rise again yet we are likely to see cloudy weather, with patches of sun and sporadic rain showers.
The weekend will be mixed, with rainy and sunny spells, and a drop in temperature to around 20-23°C. The beginning of next week is expected to be dry and fairly warm, with temperatures up to 26°C.
