Brussels Airport has reopened its restored departure hall for the next few days to give people who work at the airport and victims and survivors of the 22 March attacks the opportunity to visit the hall before it reopens to the public in May.
Victims and survivors of the attacks of 22 March are welcome at the departure hall of Brussels Airport on Friday between 17.00 and 22.00. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week, all personnel who work at the airport will have the same opportunity, says Brussels Airport spokesperson Florence Muls.
Last Saturday, the victims and survivors of the attacks in the Brussels metro station Maelbeek were able to visit the station before it officially returned to service on Monday. “It is clear that the visit has been very helpful in the grieving process for some people,” Muls added.
