About 200 people gathered on Brussels’ Grand Place on Monday evening in a tribute to the deceased pop icon David Bowie. The event was an initiative of Brussels tourism minister Philippe Close, himself a huge fan of the British music legend, writes Brusselnieuws.

The tribute featured a series of Bowie classics played over the loudspeakers of the scenic Grand Place, while a light show lit up the facade of City Hall. Despite the rain, the Bowie fans danced, and erupted in loud applause after each song.
