Last year, 41,000 new jobs were created in Belgium and this year another 43,000 jobs will be created, resulting in nearly 55,000 fewer job seekers in 2018, and a drop in the unemployment rate from 8.6% to 7.8%, according to the latest report by the High Council for Employment (HRW).
