300 balloons were released at the Atomium on the occasion of the 10-year anniversary of the complete renovation of the Brussels monument. The anniversary will be celebrated with various activities throughout the year.
The landmark will treat visitors to the free festival ‘Rock Around the Atomium’ on 13 August, with performances by three Belgian bands. It will also launch a photo contest inviting visitors to submit their best photographs of the Atomium.
