Stib, Brussels public transport operator, has lunched its own edition of Monopoly.
It consists of bus, tram and metro stations and stations on the S-train suburban network.
Stib Monopoly was devised by an employee in the Stib’s timetabling department who designs board games in his spare time.
The game took about a year to develop between the Stib’s marketing team and Hasbro, the game’s publisher and owner of the Monopoly brand rights.
Brussels version of Monopoly can be bought from a specially created pop-up shop within Porte de Namur metro station until 9 December and is also on sale at the Tram Museum.
