This summer Brussels hotels, museums and tourist attractions in the capital have more visitors than in past years.
The tourism sector appears to have rebounded from 2016, when tourist numbers took a nose dive following the March terror attacks.
According to the Brussels Hotel Association (BHA), the 70% occupancy rate for the month of July is “the same level as in the summer of 2015,” said BHA’s Rodolphe Van Weyenbergh.
More tourists also mean more visitors for the city’s attractions.
Recent special events in the capital have also contributed to the tourist influx, including two sold-out Coldplay concerts.
