All Brussels’ metro stations are now with WI-FI, all pre-metro stations in the 19 municipalities are also now covered.
There are now more than 170 wifi.brussels hotspots across the capital.
“Between 2015 and 2025, we are investing €5.2 billion in the development of the public transport system,” said the region’s mobility minister Pascal Smet.
“Free wi-fi is just a small part of that, but it’s an essential service for travellers.”
Other free hotspots in Brussels include Grand Place, Place Flagey and Place Eugène Simonis, and more are coming in the next few months, including in Place Cardinal Mercier in Jette.
