The newspaper of the Muslim community in the Netherlands is preparing a special issue of “sexual prophet Muhammad in hopes of showing “the other side of Islam” after the murders in the wording of the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, the correspondent Bi-bi-si in the Hague.
According to the chief editor of the publication Brahim Burik, the release is intended as a refutation of the popular stereotypes about Islam.
“The prophet Muhammad was a sexual man,” says Burik.
According to the journalist, Muslims should pass on to their children the correct understanding of the true message of the Qur’an.
The release of the special edition of the newspaper with a circulation of 15 thousand copies scheduled for June and coincides with the beginning of the sacred for the followers of the Islamic month of Ramadan.
