This summer an outdoor public swimming pool will appear in Brussels next to Bozar.
The pool is a result of collaboration between Bozar and the campaign group Pool is Cool
A skate ramp and graffiti wall will also be set up.
Pool is Cool has been actively campaigning for an outdoor swimming pool in the city in recent years.
One of the group’s members, Jorg De Vriese, told The Bulletin last summer:
“Indoor pools tend to be only about exercise, outdoor pools are more social and will create interesting public spaces.
We are doing a lot of things to raise awareness that this is possible.”
