New Belgian airline “Air Belgium” with launch date in early 2017 will focus on low-cost flights to Asia
The main idea of new low-cost airline is to connect Belgium with Asia, especially with China and India, writes Bruzz.
It will be a completely different company which has nothing to do with the defunct airline with the similar name that operated in the 1980s and -’90s.
One of the “Air Belgium” founders is Niky Terzakis (pictured) – the former managing director of TNT Airways based in Liege.
For the moment there is no final decision yet whether new airline will operate from the Brussels airport or from Liège.
