This weekend Brussels is visited by Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama
On Thursday morning he arrived at the Université Saint-Louis in Brussels to give a speach at the 7th International Conference of Tibet Support Groups. His Holiness is the spiritual leader of the Tibetan people. He will stay in the capital until Sunday, 11 Septemberю On Sunday he is going to give a public talk on ‘Individual Engagement and Global Responsibility’ from Palais 12 at Brussels Expo.
The conference has drawn 250 representatives from 50 countries to the Belgian capital this weekend to discuss the Tibetan cause, with a focus on four themes: the political situation in Tibet, human rights, the environment and the importance of a spirit of openness and reconciliation.
