People in Brussels love to visit live concerts so they had a great success in the capital last year, writes La Dernière Heure.
Despite the raised terror alert level, more than 700 concerts took place in Brussels in 2016.
Brussels concert hall Ancienne Belgique in Avenue Anspach hosted 303 concerts last year, compared to 258 concerts at Botanique and 72 at Forest National.
All of the Brussels concert halls in 2016 welcomed 25,000 more visitors than a year before, and also saw an increase in the number of homegrown artists.
It seems that the 2017-2018 season will have even better results. Forest National has already booked 35 concerts for the coming season, an increase of 25%.
